Duplex stainless steel has the characteristics of both austenitic

molybdenum and 4.5% ni - n alloy.It has high strength, good impact

corrosion.The yield strength of the 2205 duplex stainless steel is
twice that of the austenitic stainless steel, a feature that allows
the designer to reduce weight when designing the product, giving
the alloy a price advantage over the 316,317 L.This alloy is
particularly suited to - + 50 ° F / 600 ° F temperature range.
